You, like Mother Earth, are full of life, just on the tip of your tongue. In the curve of your cuerpo. You have the power to bring rivers of nourishment, clouds of shade, fields of cushion, winds of relief, songs of praise, flutters of admiration.
Tell him what you respect about him. If it's been too long, tell him now. Tell him today. It can't wait.
He will shrivel under scorching criticism or drown in floods of complaint. He will not grow in just a puddle of expectation. He will not expand without being given space.
Affirm the respect you have for him. Watch him become the a newer, truer version of the man he has always been.
